Well I did it! The girl who doesn't wear many flowers actually made her first zipper flower. Very easy - I followed Craftaholics Anonymous' tutorial here and with a little more practice on my part, it will be perfect. My center "bling" wasn't exactly what it could have been . . . .
. . . but even my first one is cute enough to wear on my plain white sweater that just needs a little something to perk it up. I found a variety of lengths of metal zippers at Joann's. Now I'm off to cut the binding to finish up Madi's Going-to-College quilt.
